We start by documenting what you have: devices, network, accounts, licenses and backups. Then we fix the urgent gaps first, including MFA on every account, admin and email accounts included.
Your team calls or emails one help desk. Every managed device is patched monthly, monitored and backed up.
You see the work. We send monthly patch reports, and every quarter we walk through your backup reports and restore-test results with you in a technology business review.
We serve Towson, Hunt Valley, Cockeysville, Owings Mills, White Marsh and Catonsville from our Waldorf office, and two hours of travel is included with every onsite visit. Most problems we fix remotely; when it needs a person at your desk, we come to you.
Your support comes from ITAssurance staff. Outside our office hours (8:30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday), call our after-hours number and leave a message. It goes to our on-call technician.
Federal broadband data (FCC, December 2025) for Towson shows Verizon fiber across most of the area, Xfinity fiber in parts and Xfinity cable almost everywhere, plus fixed wireless from Believe, Verizon, T-Mobile and AT&T and satellite from Starlink. If your phones and cloud apps depend on one connection, a second connection from a different provider can take over when the first one drops. We recommend a backup internet connection for most offices, and we set it up and manage it for you.
Baltimore County is served by BGE. Report outages at 877-778-2222 or bge.com. A battery backup (UPS) on your firewall, network switches and server keeps a short flicker from taking your whole office offline. After a long outage, check that last night's backup actually ran; for our managed clients, we check.
Baltimore County's drop-off centers take residential electronics only, so business equipment goes to a commercial recycler or a manufacturer take-back program. County questions: Solid Waste Management, 410-887-2000. Before any computer leaves your office, its drive should be wiped or destroyed. Or we can handle it for you: we preserve the data you need to keep, sanitize or destroy the drives following NIST SP 800-88 (the federal guideline for media sanitization), recycle the equipment and give you a data destruction certificate.
